Claythan, As a Giants fan, that particular question, I can't answer. I only get to watch the Patriots live night games and when they play the Jets. ----
Brady is not mobile. Here's another thing Brady can't do -- Cassel can run.
What I do know -- You can be the best scrambling QB in the league, but if the WR doesn't make the right adjustment and run the right route the play is dead.
In the end the strategy remains the same -- It's just not about what the QB can do --it's equally important what the QB has around him can do.
I find it hard to believe that Pioli would give up a No. 2 and $14 MM if he felt that Cassel was a bust. It's worth mentioning, the Chiefs got two starters (and most likely future position coach) in exchange for the 34th pick.
In fact, McDaniels decided early on that he wanted Cassel instead of Cutler as QB. Denver has many problems, however, the QB wasn't one of them.
