So you're saying that a team should build a franchise on 3 players who are under 30 and good?

Herm Edwards SYSTEMATICALLY destroyed the Chiefs as a franchise by ignoring the decaying offensive line, trading Jared Allen and entering TWO seasons with the likes of Damon Huard, Brodie Croyle and Tyler Thigpen as the team's only options at QB.
#1 - The offensive line was one of about a billion holes left for Herm. You have to prioritize somewhere. Didn't help that rather than let Herm tear the team up and rebuild, Peterson insisted on bringing in old free agent stopgaps to try to push the window out one year further.
#2 - Jared Allen wasn't traded by Herm. That's ridiculous. He was traded because Carl Peterson was such a dipshit that he tried to publicly criticize Allen as an at-risk player so he could lowball him in negotiations.
#3 - Okay, fine, true

That has NOTHING to do with Vermeil, yet the fact you refuse to hold Herm 100% accountable speaks volumes.
Nothing to do with Vermeil? Nothing? That's comical

Do you have a sexual fetish for black head coaches? Do you like the fact Herm uses mostly one syllable words that makes it easy for someone with your limited education/comprehension level to understand?
Glad people are finally on board with me here. It's comments like these that were spreading like wildfire. Nobody is defending Herm as a good coach. But I think people are starting to see that he did inherit a shitty situation and I think a lot of people thought he was bringing this team along nicely, if we had stuck with the 4-3. Nobody defends his coaching decisions. But at least people are starting to see that no matter who took over as coach for Vermeil was in a very bad, losing situation.
