Because you've already noted that you don't know much about MMA. So I've seen a thousand fights where it was stopped because of those very situations. A guy gets knocked down, and turtles up while the other guy lands punches. They don't have to be big bombs when a guy is turtled up like that. So Carwin punched himself out. If that's what makes Brock great, fine. He turtled up and let a guy punch himself out of gas. Right now Brock's face is swollen shut and Carwin looks like he's about to go out for dinner. People that don't have Lenar's nuts in their mouth knows that should have been stopped in the first.
