Both Sheff and Houston's styles are more aggressive than Studey's. Though as non-starters they had little involvement in the 1st couple of drives once they are in they have to learn to protect against overplaying the rush.

I don't disagree with either of those statements. Well, no, I do disagree with "players overshooting the backfield and playing themselves out of plays". That doesn't happen much with the starters. But I'm not saying Sheffield and Houston should start now. I am saying that I think Studebaker is a weak link and I hope one of them is ready at some point during the season (I expect they both will be).
And in the end, if it's about a young guy learning, I will take overpursuit over not able to reach the play 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. But that's just me. Call it the price of doing business
