Nor should they. This is just one of those business decisions where you have to take the lesser of two bad roads:
1. Let him walk.
2. Pay your starting corners $100 million.
I vote to let him walk, given those choices. There are good corners you can find on the market, the draft is loaded in the first three rounds, Jalil Brown has starter upside, and Travis Daniels and Javier Arenas can man the position for another year should we find ourselves in a tough spot.
It sucks, but you can't have every present under the Christmas Tree.

Good Corners don't grow on trees. Considering the amount of cap space this team has, there is no excuse to not tie him him. Rookie Qb's come dirt cheap, so by the time our hopefully franchise QB is rdy for his second contract, Carr & Flowers will be up and probably on the downside of their career.
If they let him walk, then we just have another ****ing hole to fill.
There is no good reason to not pay the man. None. Don't care how you slice it. And don't give me this "100M Locked up corners" BS.
How much do we have locked up on DE's? How much money did they throw at a broke dick Qb?
Too much money for corners....pffff.....yeah ****ing right....
That didn't stop the Eagles from buying two legit #1's.
