You don't just draft a QB in the first rd for the sake of drafting a QB in the first rd....regardless of how long the Chiefs have avoided to do so.

Luck yes, but it was not possible. You have to have a trade partner and Indy was not going to pass on Luck. RGIII will not live up to the hype. I love the kid and hope he goes great. But, the Redskins line is going to be terrible and RGIII is going to take a lot of hits. Redskins also don't have any future draft picks to upgrade the OL, so I don't see the problem fixing itself very quickly. I think RGIII will spend a lot of time watching from the sideline over his career.
