I can see Smith taking on a Trent Green role, accurate and quick short-medium passer, excellent in play action, and decent game awareness. The problem for the Chiefs was they they did nothing to develop a long-term QB solution during the Trent Green era.

Except Smith sucks at the short to intermediate routes. He's good at the check downs and dump offs, though, so he has that going for him.
