I didn't realize this, but Mahomes is under 100 yards away from surpassing Lenny and becoming the Chiefs all-time career passing yards leader.

He's also only 19 TDs away.

How awesome is that going to be? He'll certainly break that mark at home in front of the Arrowhead crowd on national TV while raising the SB banner.

Montana played with ZERO hall of famers on offense before 1985.

Yes I watched the 93-94 Chiefs. They were carried by the defense, just like every other year of the Schottenheimer era.

Montana never threw for 4,000 yards in a season, and only threw 30 TDs in a season once (31). His stats in KC were mediocre at best.

I'm not saying he was terrible, I'm just saying he isn't worthy of holding Mahomes' jock because Mahomes is far superior to Montana in every category.

Stop comparing the future GOAT to the luckiest game manager the NFL had ever seen prior to Brady coming along.

Nothing you posted says Montana can hold Mahomes' jock. Mahomes has done more with less, in a passing era.

As they say, the best ability is availability. Another category where Mahomes smokes Montana.
