Dallas deserved to lose this game. With two minutes left, and 4th and 1 from the 50, you punt? Unless you believe you chances of making are less than 50/50, you have to go for it. I have to believe the chances are a lot better than 50/50.

If they don't make it, Den only had to go like 20 yards to kick the game winning field goal.

I probably would have punted, too, considering Dal had all kinds of trouble against that Den D-Line.

They should be thinking in terms of the odds of making it on 4th and 1 plus driving another 20-30 yards for to win the game vs. punting, stopping the opponent, and then either winning the toss and driving for a score or lossing the toss, stopping the opponent again and then driving for a score. Once you start looking at every thing that has to line up for you to win, I think going for it on 4th and 1 from the 50 is much more attractive odds than punting.

If I have Dallas' defense, I like our chances to stop them and get the ball back, so I'd punt. If I had KC's defense however, I'd go for it.
