The Broncos aren't traditionally any more successful with these things, but they sure got it right in that Champ trade.

Maybe both teams will end up in the Superbowl and the Broncos get 31st and 32nd.

Oh well. Who knows what they'll do... I'd like to see them do a number of things. Package them and trade up... use 1 at the slot and trade down for more picks... potentially trade a pick for a player ... Most of all and most importantly, they just need to not fug up either pick. The most dire need that I see is WR. Rod Smith is great, but he's in his mid 30s and the only true threat they have. Lelie showed nothing compared to 2004 and I just don't see him being the #1 guy waiting in the wings. He's proved that they should have not taken him in R1. I'd like to see them go for a nice young FA wide receiver like Wayne, but he'll cost too damn much money and who knows if he can really be a #1 guy outside that Indy offense and away from Harrison. Maybe Denver can trade a #1... Lelie and something else to a team with a top 5 pick. Who knows. Ah well, there's time to worry about the draft ... and right now is not that time.

Check out what the Jets had to trade to move from 13 or wherever they were to #4 to grab DL Dwayne Robertson. It was nuts.

I say they draft a WR or TE (if theres a good TE in college this season, i dont follow it enough to know). Maybe a safety.
