Fisher or Edwards
It seems that we dismiss Fisher because he is not available or under contract. So what? Edwards is under contract as well.
Would your preference be to get persmission to talk with Fisher and give up a draft pick or Edwards and give up a draft pick?

i saw on the a.m. news that the Rams will be asking for permission to speak with Fisher.

He's a solid coach, but I'm not looking for a "solid" coach, I'm looking for someone who is going to win us a championship, and last time I checked Fisher ain't been winning any championships in 11 seasons. 4 playoff berths in 11 seasons. Another difference may be that the Chiefs want Edwards, but don't want Fisher.

Also, I don't think Fisher would come as cheaply (in terms of draft picks) as Edwards might. I think the Chiefs know that the Jets may be more willing to let Edwards walk than extend his contract. I don't know if that's the case with Fisher.
