I say a low risk high reward type of deal...he isnt commanding much id think cause of teh injuries, but he has been a solid pitcher over the years. We'll see what happens and i believe Olivo was like a personal catcher to him, so interesting twist to his signing.

He'll be in the $8-9MM/yr range for a 1-2 yr deal. Just a guess.

Well, he's pretty old and been injured a lot recently. I wouldn't be too excited about him, but we do need another pitcher and of course a low risk deal wouldn't hurt anything.

Didn't he win a Cy Young like 2 years ago? He's only 34 and his injuries have been more of that nagging type rather than serious arm injuries.

Seems like a great low risk/high reward signing. Hopefully DM can seal the deal.
