DAmnit!!! The did it to me again.
Still non-stop but now I have to get the kids up at 4am for a 7am flight out of KC. AND our final day in Orlando is completly SHOT as we will have to be at the airport by 8:30am!!! It is too late to make changes with Disney without paying penalties now as well. Thanks Midwest. How soon before you scrub these flights (the last non-stops available BTW) and throw me back on a one-stop in Milwaukee that will make the flight last over 6 hours. I paid for this back in October. So much for early bird.

I flew Midwest to round trip from KC to Ft Lauderdale last year with family of 8.
had not one but two delays for a total of 10 hours and what best could be described as hostile flight crew. I ended up with a $100.00 dollar voucher for each passenger. I used them this last weekend to fly to Austin with 4 people. We experienced a 5 hour fly delay, hot coffee spilled In my lap and lost luggage . I will be contacting them today to revoke the "best care in the air phrase". The worst part about it was the lack of communication during the delay. |

It seems to be getting like that with pretty much every airline these days.
I've flown United 16 times in the past 6 weeks. 13 of those flights were either delayed 4+ hours or canceled...only once was it for weather, the rest were crew schedule changes or mechanical issues. I received a whopping total of $0 in vouchers or any other sort of "make good offers." And it hasn't been for lack of complaining. Flying right now just sucks in general.

I can just see two more things happening here.
First they will eliminate these last two NON-STOP flights. Second once rescheduled on the layover flights that I didn't want, I will then get asked to take a new flight on the day of due to overbooking(that they have gone out of their way to create). My answer to that will be a resounding HELL-NO!!!!
