Who's gonna get it?

My brother likes the Madden games, and I've been checking this out and it looks really good, so I think we're going to get the package.

Exactly. The current system adds a bit of much-needed challenge to change things up from the Madden style, but the problem is that it makes it impossible to really plan things out or see who's available before you commit to someone else.

There's a "FA Preview" that pops up sometime in the post-season before Free Agency begins.

So I restarted, feeling less burdened to compete immediately. I have Jake ****ing Long and Branden ****ing Albert on the line, I drafted Patrick Lee, Frank Okam, and Jermichael Finley who look like studs in the making, and Andre Woodson looks surprisingly decent. But apparently, going super-young and finishing 4-12 after your offensive line is gutted by injuries gets you fired.

**** you, fake Clark Hunt wannabe guy. That team was going to be awesome in 2009, especially with a top four draft pick.

Get the special skill that has to do with boosting positive approval and less of an impact for negative approval. I finished with a 90 approval my first season (went 8-8 but still it helps)

I didn't do that, but I did try again and not just autosim this time. I got up to 80 approval thanks to a defining moment in a preseason game (

) and some decent early season stuff, and managed to eke out a 5-11 season that had me at 50-something approval.

Then I got Blake Walton in the draft at #8. BEAST. I was pining for Gino King in the second, but settled for Sean Fogarty who's battling Herb Taylor for the starting RG job now.

I'm 3-1 to start season two, and Andre Woodson's an 80 overall now (still pick-prone, though), so I have to consider whether or not I want to keep scouting QBs so hard.

Also, Brian Waters and Frank Okam are made of glass.
