Tip Jars are out of Control

Just got back from picking up my lunch at a Chinese restaurant drive thru. Pull up to order and what is taped to the drive thru window.... A MF'n TIP CUP!!!!!!! It is a Freaking Drive Thru in a fast food restaurant and you want a tip???????? Good God these things have gone to far.

FWIW, in Mexico you have to ask for your check and most everything else from the wait staff. I understand we are in America and I'm not trying to excuse your lousy service. Just saying that maybe there was a culture barrier with your waitress and not a lack of effort on her part.

Life's to short to be anything other than what you are.

I'm an asshole, and when I try to be anything other than an asshole, it makes me unhappy.

But just for the record, I tip wait persons, so if your wife served me in a restaurant, she'd get a tip.

I don't put money in tip jar just cause someone behind a counter handed me a couple of donuts, or gave me a cup to fill my coffee, or some other stupid shit like that.

Don't get me wrong, you should tip when a tip is needed, but come on!!! it was a drive through. lol
