Simple, the shot on Tom Brady in the season opener.

That shot lead the Patriots to a playoff-less season which allowed Pioli to concentrate on his life... That time brought him to the Chiefs. Would he have come to KC if they would have made another run? Doubt it very highly.

I thought it was a reach as well.

I'm not sure I want Cassel though either. And without Pollards hit on Brady, we would probably know nothing about Cassel.
