I think my mom is related to Demonpenz

My mom is 68. She lives in Ohio and when she visits her boys out here in California she insists on driving.

She drove from Ohio to California in just 3.5 days, and spent only $28 on food the entire time.

Here's the update email she sent when she arrived:

Hello All. here I am in Calif. with Matt and Val and the Kids. Must say quite a trip. Traveled with God, country music and Duck tape. Started with a rattle so checked under my hood saw a lose gadget bought Duck tape Heavy duty weather proof. thought problem was fixed. traveled on more rattling checked again. The new windshield, I had. replaced was losing the rubber seal around the top of the windshield. More Duck tape, So the start of another day and more rattling. what now. checked and my front headlight was lose completely broken tried taping the inside so it won't show no deal so had to tape the outside. With a strong prayer that nothing falls off my car I continue on with the radio on so I could not hear any more rattles. So thank you God and Duck tape. Here I am, Will connect with you all as time passes but will be busy here. Love to all

Tiny, sounds like your mom is a little, uhm....eccentric. Which is nice. My grandma was like that, a real original. I sure do miss her, she always said and did the oddest things. There were a lot of words that could have been used to describe grandma, but boring wasn't one of them.
