I ain't buying it.
If Matt Cassel doesn't earn his way into the Hall of Fame tonight, we're ****ed.

All I'm gonna' say is that the goddamned line and receivers better not make us look like idiots or get Cassel mauled in a ****ing pre season game.

I'm more than prepared to be patient with some things. I expect Houston's ones to win the overall battle. But I want to see a lot that isn't unreasonable: accuracy and poise from Cassel; WRs actually catching the ball; LJ and Charles doing good things on the ground, in addition to blocking; the DL doing anything but get pushed back at the LOS; SOMEONE put a bit of pressure on the QB, etc.

Has anybody asked Haley how much they are gameplanning for this game? I would of be somewhat surprised and concerned by how good Dungver's D looked last night if I hadn't heard their coach talk about gameplanning for real to give the coaches practice at doing it. I doubt Haley would tip his hand like that though.

I think the WPI article is fair. I hope it's wrong; but, I have a feeling we will be shopping for WRs off the waiver wire at the end of preason. It is also possible that Pioli pulls off a trade for another team's disgruntled (and allegedly underpaid) WR if our receivers look as mediocre as expected.

Good read. Much better than the Star's recycling of the same quotes through four different articles.
