Is Brandon Albert proving some of the draftniks here right?

So far this season he has not looked very good. What do you think it is? Is he a LG and not a LT (like some draftniks here insisted)? Is he going through sophomore jinx? Is it the weight loss?

You know what? I think I'll make a poll about it.

Albert isn't the problem. Wiegmann and Lilja are both too light, which is why we get blown up right up the middle in pass protection, and we still haven't found a right tackle. And I don't know the playbook or the protection calls, but some of the issue today looked like assignment confusion, defenders coming completely unblocked.

(Which shouldn't be happening in week 17....)

Albert is pretty awful in pass protection. At this point, I would move him inside if we come up with a better option. I think we need 2 new tackles.

I think they should explore the possibility of drafting a LT and move him to G.

I don't know about BW, but CW played like WC today.

I agree. I don't think he's good enough to be a top LT.
