The timing for such a thing is impressive.

It's this type of shit that makes me not give two ****s about Luck. Just about everyone on the board was lining up to have Curry bust a fat one right on their lips and then say "thank you sir, may i have another", only to see this shit a few years later.

No, not "just about everyone" on this board wanted Curry. Not even close. And you do understand the difference between a quarterback and a linebacker, right?

There were a whole lot of people, how about that and the position doesn't matter in this instance. The potential to be a bust is still there, so I don't want to throw in the towel after two games. If we are 0-13 then **** it, tank the rest, but damn we are 0-2. Let's at least try. Hell for all we know Stanzi might be the one. Luck might be the next Peyton or he might not. Hell, I'll take the next Brady, Rodgers, or Brees too they could be in the draft if we finish lets say 4-12. (And I'm not saying Stanzi is any of those either, just saying it doesn't take the "greatest prospect in the history of the world" to win a superbowl.

exactly and let's not forget about #19 pick - Maclin, who may be the best pick of that draft, all things considered.

Too bad that since 1990, only 13.75% of 0-2 teams make the playoffs. Since there's an 86.25% chance we won't make the playoffs now. . .might as well go for Luck. That will only be reinforced after this weekend when we hit 0-3. Maybe if the stars align, we can finally have a franchise QB.
