Who's your favorite 2nd tier QB of all time?
You know the type. Your basic lunch pail guys who won some games, but wasn't exactly a franchise or top tier QB. Guys like:

Jay Schroeder
Stan Humphries
Brian Griese
Steve Deberg

I see people getting upset that Trent Green is mentioned as a second tier QB. My question is why? That is not a slight on him. He IS a second tier QB.

Top tier QBs are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Joe Montana....the best of the best.

We all love TG, but he doesn't belong with this group. He belongs in the group right below....which is the second tier.

Guys like McNair, Rivers (yes, he's 2nd tier) and Plummer... sure he was a train wreck at times, but he was fun to watch and ran that bootleg pretty damn well. He made some terrible decisions at times, but he had a gift and a love for the game. Gotta love a guy that flips off his own fans from the bench.

Dumb. Rivers is top 20 in every category there is. Mentioning plummer in the same sentence is pretty ****ing stupid.
