Holmgren is being fired for multiple mistakes but his 10-28 record doesn't help much, either. With new ownership comes new leadership. Once Haslam bought the team, this move was expected.

If the Browns end up with the #1 overall pick over the Chiefs (unlikely, IMO), I believe that they'll trade for picks. That franchise is absolutely desperate for talent and they gave up their 2013 second rounder already for Josh Gordon in last summer's supplemental draft.

Dumb move after dumb move is what cost Holmgren his job.
