Kid did a cannonball and for the life of me I can't get this ear to clear. I am open to suggestions.

often the reason a person gets water stuck in their ear is ear wax build up. The peroxide addresses that.

Rubbing alcohol. Cotton ball. Squeeze just a little in there, you'll hear it hit the water, shake your head. Ballgame over.

I've never had rubbing alcohol hurt or burn. Except for when I didn't realize I had broken my eardrum. Son of a cock bitch that ****ing hurt like everything unholy.

It may burn if you leave it in there awhile, but you can hear it hit the water, so I'm not sure why you'd need to.

Swimmers ear is balls.

Generally, swimmer's ear is a recurring condition caused by the shape of the external ear canal. Ear wax and swimmer's ear are two separate, unrelated conditions.

Are you sure it's water? It could be ear wax plugging you up. I've had that before where I get water in my ear, so then I'm kinda digging in there with my finger a little bit and wind up pushing wax down in there which completely plugs it up. Then I end up thinking it's water the whole time and of course none of the remedies to remove water work because that's not the actual problem.

If it is ear wax there are removal kits at the pharmacy, but I've always preferred going to the ear doc. They have this vacuum that will literally suck the wax out of your ear and you'll feel like a new person.

Just figured I'd throw that out there.

I had a serous swimmers ear problem last summer when I went swimming.... a couple nights later the whole left side of my face swelled up. I couldn't sleep, eat(jaw swelled up), or hear out of that ear at all. Horrible.

swimmer's ear is a bacterial infection of the ear, not simply water in the ear. nothing in the OP suggest swimmer's ear.
