Another top 10 team signing a veteran QB. Wonder what that could mean?

I said a coach and GM should be able to evaluate a QB that sits the bench for a year and sees the field for a year.

The initial response, which you jumped in, on was to a poster who was going to end up sitting the QB for 2 seasons while A. Smith was starting, because he was trying to argue that you don't sign QBs for the millions if you're going to have them as backups (the Bills scenario). My response about the two year's playing was in line with that, so you can take your insults and go pound sand.

When I "jumped in" I was clear in that it was one year on the bench in my scenario.

If it was clear, then you'd have understood that my "two years on the field" fit perfectly in the scenario, you wouldn't have bothered talking about the "one year on the field" that you did, and you wouldn't have been jumping on my post for supposedly being risk averse when my two year scenario gave the team its two years in time to make the decision on picking up the option.
