Get to the K
Pay $10 to park (better than the Chiefs)
$84 for some decent tickets
$10 for 3 chicken strips and 15 fries
$10 a beer
Royals get shutout by a dude making his first start that can't throw more than 87 mph.
And then the final kick in the balls, I-70W is down to one lane for a good 4-5 mile stretch.
The Royals showed less effort than the post-game shit I took when I got home.

I can see why people would just rather stay home and watch it in HD. Which is painful for me to say, as some of my best memories were going to the stadium with my dad and older brother as a kid.
TV is why I think attendance is down. The ratings are still really high, so the interest is there. When I was a kid they never broadcast home games. That forced everyone to go to more home games.

Performances like last night happen, but for a team allegedly making a playoff push, they are unacceptable. No way this rookie shit baller should have dominated us. Never. This team is resilient. I look for a bounce back. What is scary that the past, and even this season has shown us the Royals are far more capable of extended lows, not lengthy highs. Present streak not withstanding. Our ace looks hurt, our offense still is struggling, and a likely playoff team is on the way to town. Starting to have fear and loathing.

Only the Royals can score 13 one day and get nothing the next.

If that were true it would be down everywhere, but it's not. Small markets can't support MLB teams.
