Getting healthy

Just for fun, I decided to glance at the Chiefs injury report today:

Though there are a ton of guys on the list that are nicked up a bit, it's good to see that we're about as healthy as you can expect a team to be at this point (exempting our two broken TE's that is). Hopefully that's a good sign for tomorrow.

[QUOTE=Pam Oliver's Forehead;9509677]I'm guessing all of these guys will have better seasons than Sean Smith:

Pacman Jones
Sam Shields
Greg Toler
Sheldon Brown
Chris Houston

I don't think his physical tools are all that great, especially considering how much he gets beat.

Maybe if he ran faster he wouldn't get toasted so much.

In I end I don't care how much he's getting paid, because I believe we could have signed a better DB.

I guess it's fairly low risk/high reward. That's all I like about it, since I think everyone in this fan base will want him gone in a year, or moved to safety, which he'd suck at, too.

He doesn't have great physical tools. If he wasn't 6-foot-3 no one would care about this turd.

Can't wait for tomorrow. Glad I'll be able to sleep in knowing we play at 4:25.

lol ... wut?

Lewis can't cover 1-on-1
Lewis is a weak tackler
Lewis takes crappy angles
Lewis has virtually no ball skills
Lewis is too slow to provide much help on any sideline routes

All of those basically apply to Demps. Demps has better ballskills, but have any of his interceptions been difficult? He's been in the right place at the right time -- a good skill, absolutely -- but Lewis has had his fair share of INTs that are just as acceptable.

Demps, it should be mentioned, takes even worse angles than Lewis. His angle on the Denarius Moore TD last week was the reason Moore scored.

I live in the area and see a lot of Texan highlights. AJ isn't what he used to be. Often injured/slowed and Schaub's go to, he's more of a possession receiver these days than a deep threat. I don't think he's going to run away from any KC DB.

I don't think he'll be a difference maker.

Demps has definitely had a lot of Greg Wesley picks, but has also not blown any assignments that I can remember.
