I think we have a Ninja. Is that the one where the motor goes on top instead of on the bottom? We don't do a lot of pulverizing ice though. We do fruit. We also do human ears when they're available.

I have this and we love the ****ing thing. It's double your budget, but it also has a food processor if that makes it doable. Well worth it IMO.

Just bought the $100 Ninja Pro blender. Loaded it up with OUR ice, not store ice. It PULVERIZED it!!!!

Yep. I bought mine a couple years ago, and it's fantastic. Tree he Ninja does not compare. But it's an investment, not a throwaway.

Yeah, well I don't need a $500 blender. Just something that will crush ice every now and then. Spending $100 was our absolute limit. Didn't even want to go that high but was tired of seeing ice rocks in our drinks.
