Tonight we closed out and witnessed the passing of the torch in Denver

I know, I know, I know this is nearly a duplicate thread to Mr Flopnuts but he is thinking short term and I am looking at history.

Today is the day that Peyton Manning softly retires on the sideline and we sealed the deal even though he got his record.

He is done! We finally have a win against Mr Ten Head after all these years!

You are soooooo right on with this statement. We have seen the last of Peyton IMO. Even an inexperienced more mobile big armed kid that at least can stretch the field still keeps a defense honest. PM's arm is not able to keep a defense honest any longer and Sutton proved it by playing man(forcing tight windowed throws he cannot make any longer) and blitzing all day on him. If the Broncos had at least a decent running game it would have allowed Peyton to keep the FAUX going much longer BUT that is not the case which only quickened Manning's quiet death on the sideline.

Manning and Ali have much more in common than they realize. Should have retired much much sooner in their careers.
