A starting C from their own ****ing hometown university.

Some what's shaping up to be damn good depth pieces in Conley, Nelson, Wilson, Alexander, and RNR.

But no.

WHAT ABOUT TYLER LOCKETT! KNEW WE SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED HIM! WAHHHH

It's in****ingsufferable.

On CP, yes. Tyler Lockett totally is overrated.
Disagree on Lockett being overrated.

There are DOZENS of good players in every draft not taken by the Chiefs every year. Why doesn't CP bitch about not drafting all of them? Because Lockett is a guy they knew in college. That's it. That's the only ****ing reason. It's dumb.

Tyler Lockett worship is dumb.

We waited and got Hill in a later round anyway. Hill>Lockett.

I'll call that a win for now.

FYI he didn't fail a test he misse one. But here are the three reasons people should be little put off by this...

A - he missed the test because he was in rehab for his "addiction" the NFL made no atttempt to locate him to take test. As he had no contact while in rehab that was announced.

B - yes a failed test and a missed one are the same thing in the eyes of the CBA. But you know what isn't? The fact that Randy Gregory did not have an agent at the time of this appeal hearing. This violates the CBA about having representation before hearing has taken place.

C - meanwhile Josh Brown gets one game suspension, and Micheal Fliyed will be catching TD for the pats in the post season.

Sounds like Goodell's NFL to me. The players and owners need to exclude Goodell from being judge/jury/executioner on the next CBA. It would be one thing if things were handled in an even manner, but players/teams really have no idea what to expect.

A - It was shortly after his rehab and it's not the NFL's job to hold your hand. Don't want to be subject to a bunch of tests - don't be a goddamn junky.

B - Uh...no it doesn't. This isn't a criminal hearing and the CBA does not guarantee any form of representation in a disciplinary hearing.

C - No question that the NFL's disciplinary policy can be erratic. That said, this one's black and white and Gregory is a repeat, repeat, repeat....REPEAT offender (as the failed test at the combine also counts, IIRC).

Randy Gregory is a grown ass man playing a kids game for hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Save your tears for someone that isn't rolling up his meal ticket and smoking it.

Ha ha, great thread. I notice that many KSU fans are this way about Lockett. Not just here on CP but many of my friends and family that are Wildcat fans. If the guy wasn't a KSU player, he would not be nearly that revered.

Yup - next HoF wide receiver. Tyler Lockett. Not overrated.

16 game averages of 47 catches for 650 yards/season.

You'd think the guy was Odell Beckham Jr round these parts.
