Alexander the Great – Playoff Alex runs and passes us to victory 35 38.04%
Big Red Wall – The offensive line makes pockets and pancakes with equal aplomb 0 0%
Game plan – Reid and his assistants outsmart people like Joey Porter who once got shot in the buttocks. 25 27.17%
Half All Pros – They aren’t all All-Pros, but half of them are and the rest are good. The DBs keeps the towel boys covered all day. 5 5.43%
Lucky breaks – On any given Sunday, fortune is fickle, and it shall shine on the Chosen 53 in Kansas City. 9 9.78%
Officiating – Because the Chiefs will get the benefit of the doubt over the team that had seven officials on their side against Miami. 0 0%
On Donner and Blitzen – The outside pass rush makes Pittsburgh resort to cannibalism. 2 2.17%
RAC ‘em up – Kelce and his merry band of receivers evade their pursuers like Von Miller in a police chase 16 17.39%
Special Teams – Santos and Colquitt land bombs, Ty-wreaks havoc, Murry hurries, and so on. 11 11.96%
The Earth’s core – the DTs and ILBs control the middle of the field and push the pocket 4 4.35%
Trickery – Andy, Toub, and Sutton bring out the bag of trick plays in force to confuse their iron-brained opponent. 3 3.26%
Turnovers – The Chiefs will grab unescorted footballs like Roethlisberger grabs unescorted college girls. 34 36.96%
Tyreek – He deserves his own category here. 32 34.78%
Western Ware – West and Ware saddle up and ride hard to get the tough yards 3 3.26%
It's all so intertwined that I can't build the regression model necessary to isolate the key independent variables. 6 6.52%
I don't know. But I do know the Chiefs will win. 11 11.96%

When the Chiefs win Sunday...why?

I'll categorize this generally by unit with a few other categories mixed in. Since no win is produced by one single unit, we'll each pick three. THREE.

Poll coming slower than Tyreek Hill in the 100-meter dash, but still pretty fast.

I've been thinking . if they would line up Tyreek in the backfield when we are punting and just hike the ball to him and let him run around the end we'd never have to punt again.

And BTW we will win the next three games because of Tyreek hill.

For KC to win it has to come down to big plays. There's simply no way we can line up with them and win a shootout. So either Hill has to go off or Berry and co have to change field position multiple times.

I don't expect our rush to step up (unless Houston is TRULY healthy but that guy's had a massive red flag on him for ages now), and I don't expect us to move the ball all that much, as usual. We need the playmakers to make the difference.

I'm usually a trenches guy, but IMO the most important players in this game are Hill, Kelce, Peters and Berry. We absolutely need them to make game-changing plays. If they're all merely solid to good, that's not enough IMO. We need chunk yardages, explosive TDs and turnovers.

Alright man. I'm in! We win with a ST and D TD's, along with one on O. And two FG's.

We get two interceptions, with at least one in Pittsburgh territory and Hill dictates field position with at least one big return and Pittsburgh avoiding kicking to him leading to poor kicks. I expect Pittsburgh to score about 24 points but if we set ourselves up for a couple short fields we can put up 31 points.

One of those games we occasionally see where you say "ah yes, thats why he is so respected around the league"
Occasionally? I think his overall record and record after byes may have something to do with that. If you win every damn year, without overwhelming talent, you're probably doing something right.

You all disrespect the importance of a great punt and FG game. It wins games.

You left out the key component in this game...revenge for being humiliated on Sunday Night Football. The whole country saw it...

Pittsburgh fans are completely ignoring that they were were humiliated by the Eagles the week before...34-3. The motivation for redemption is a real thing. Reid is already 17-2 coming off a bye...but this games has a personal tone to it.

KC is going to come out hitting like the first Denver game...they haven't forgotten what happened.

Reid/Sutton completely smoke Tomlin/Haley as far as coaches...

I think Alex plays a big game. Pittsburgh defense has been much better lately, but Alex was on it these past two games and seems to be fully in rhythm. Add in the best receiving core he's had since he got here, and I think he throws for around ~250 with two TDs and a rushing TD.

Also think we dominate ST, especially with what Pit fans have said about their ST. I expect Hill to provide at least one big punt return.

And lastly, I think Reid will show why he's the best coach in the league off the bye week, and one of the best in the league period. He'll be ready for anything the Steelers want to throw at us; it'll come down to the execution of the players, and I fully trust that our players are capable of executing whatever they need to.

HM: Pittsburgh is different on the road than they are at home.

Berry in Bells pocket all game, delivering earth shattering kabooms. Peter's all up in AB. Big Ben trying to stand tall in a collapsing pocket throwing picks. Kelce, Tyreek, Maclin, west and ware all do what they do. They score late making it look closer than it is. 48-3 CHIEFS!!

I see Houston getting the kill shot on Ben ready.
It will be so bad the replay will be like watching the JFK film he hit him back and to the left.
