I think Best Buy is in a good spot. Gamestop is the one that is about to go out of business.

I often wonder how our perceptions of places change over time and what we would think about that same place years ago with our current perceptions. A place like JCPenney’s for example. As a kid it always seemed like this fancy place with very little anything of interest to me due to it being the sort of place you are on your best behavior and not kid friendly.

Depends on the store. Around here, Penny’s are nice, clean and well run.

All right next to each other at 95th and Metcalf was Metcalf South, K-Mart, Venture, and Children’s Palace. It was awesome.

Now there’s a Lowe’s and Home Depot right across the street from one another.

*ICEE machines. Friend of mine's dad worked for Icee and he would get the "One Free Medium Icee" coupons all the time. We rode our bikes up to the one on Vivion and live like sugared out kings on the weekends.

Truman Corners! That's a long ride. I remember Hillcrest. Jerry's Sports Shop was there at TC. Thom Mcan shoes. The theater. That was Grandview I think.
