Tommie Smith did run a 19.87 at the 68 Olympics and he did catch ...one....pass in a Bengals game, so....failed experiment was Tommie Smith New York Giants cornerback Henry Carr (drafted to run with Bob Hayes) was the 1964 Olympic 200m champion and ran a WR 20.2 on dirt, so that would be there with a HS 20.14. Carr beat Hayes a few times at 200m as did his teammate WR Homer Jones who beat Hayes in an NAIA meet. |
