Budget 5.1 Home Theater Speakers

I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive set of speakers for my home theater. I have an Onkyo TX-SR373 receiver that has the five speaker outputs plus two sub-woofer outputs. Everything that I seem to look at has a central sub-woofer that all the other speakers plug into. I have a Yamaha speaker system, which I purchased several years ago, that has the five individual speakers and a powered sub-woofer. Can't seem to find anything other than some all in one systems that look like they would connect to a PC or something that's over $1,000.

Suggestions?

I picked up one of the recently released Marantz receivers and seems to be to same usual quality you’d expect. I still don’t particularly like the consolidation and what it and inflation seem to be doing to pricing.

Amazon’s TNF broadcasts actually pumped in crowd noise thru the heights rather than the rears. Not sure if it was supposed to be that way or a mixing error since I believe it was only a 5.1 broadcast but that was actually really nice. Still there without being overbearing sometimes.

Now if they could just figure out the compression so that every ****ing streaming service wasn't half as loud at OTA broadcasts.
