Unless Gun is fired, I won't be TOO optimistic. Sure, if Raye or Schott gets fired (Stock is almost certainly a shoe-in) I'll defnitely be happy. But we have to remember, Gun is the one that hired these idiots. Who is he going to hire this time if Raye, Schott, and Stock were his FIRST choices?! I don't actually believe we'll be seeing any new assistants that are going to be of great impact. The Norv Turners will be going elsewhere. The replacements for our stooges could go about as well as they did for the originals trying to replace Curly.

I'll believe it when I see or hear about it. Vermeil's also a workaholic. Used to spend more time in the office than Gun and then he cracked up and retired. That was the first time. I dunno probably won't hear anything about a shakeup untill next week.

I would love to have Vermeil as an HC. I know he's said he doesn't want to do it again, but what a chance he'd have to be the first HC to lead three teams to the super Bowl!
He has to realize the talant we have here in KC, and he has the clout to hire just about anyone he wants as Assts. He could take two teams from the same state to The Dance. Luz and he is very good friends with carl... |

Even though he is a Donk, I would like to land Gary Kubiak...Especially, if he can teach our O line how to get away with those dirty blocking schemes...

To me, Gun is just as much a problem as the rest of the stooges. If they keep him, we're still gonna be in trouble.
Why do I get the feeling they are going to bring in Vermeil as a consultant to tutor Gun on being a HC???<BR> |

Vermeil wants to coach again. He was pushed out in St. Louis because the higher ups in St. Louis thought that Marts was the great mind behind the Super Bowl Championship and they knew if they didn't promote him to head coach then he would be a head coach for another team. Thus Vermeil was pushed out to make sure the Rams kept Marts. I would love to see Vermeil running the show in KC.

If I was A G.M. I would choose Marty Morningwheg(sp?) as my head coach.
This guy is a natural to step into a head coaching job. He made Garcia a pro bowl Quarterback in his first year... |
