Most lineman drafted in the 1st round always dominate in their rookie season. (sarcasm).
Was he improving is the real question. |

This is one player I'm giving a pass and am interested to see his response this year.
We knew he was a little light, we knew he was from a smaller school and we knew he was playing out of position last year. This year he's added some weight and is moved to his natural position, so THIS is the year I'll judge Fisher. A lot of top offensive linemen struggle their first year. |

I've got nothing on you McFly.
I remember watching his tape back before the draft in 2012 and thinking "this guy plays like Joe Thomas". Elite size, fantastic motor as as run blocker, natural athlete, widened stance with extended arms, decent technician, exc. Can he get stronger? Yes. Will he improve as he slides back to his natural position? I think so. Did anybody expect him to make the Pro Bowl as a rookie? I sure as heck didn't. He's raw, but most of us predicted that. Greg Robinson will be in a similar situation in St. Louis this year. |

Other than Fisher - in the last 10 years or so, the only two OT's taken in the Top 5 I can remember that weren't at least solid were Jason Smith and Robert Gallery. And neither were anywhere NEAR as bad as Fisher was last season. |
