Kawika is going to get far more money than he's worth so I'm passing on him.

Sure.....While i was never a huge Donnie Edwards fan, even at his worst he was better than Kawika has ever been. I want a "STUD" MLB

I'd rather get someone new and young, but if Edwards came cheap I'd take him. Mitchell isn't worth the money he would want, especially in this insane free agent market.

Pollard will be the new MLB. Gunther always has a player to convert.

If we're talking either/or, then Kawika by a longshot. Edwards is 34 years old. I've seen enough of the Lew Bush, Marvcus Patton, Glenn Cadrez guys on the wrong side of the hill kind of player here in KC. Give me the 27/28-year old who's shown consistent, almost drastic improvement over the last three years.

Donnie Edwards will be a bad ass OLB in the cover 2 if he comes, but it still leaves us with a problem of having to find another OLB to replace him in a couple of years when he retires.....so I see it as bittersweet. Kawika is fairly solid considering the d-tackles he's had in front of him since he's been here.

I'm just not comfortable paying Kawika Mitchell 30+ mill with a double digit signing bonus.....and he's probably going to get that.

I'll say Donnie Edwards and hope that we draft a suitable replacement in the next year or two.
