its supposed to be a knock off of the first civilization-when i look it up it says all this stuff about binary and this and that.

i dont know what that is.

is there a place where a tard can download it w/out getting a virus/worm & w/out having to do 900 things???

Even then, its a pain to get it working if you have Windows XP. DOSBox is a free utility that might help.

Just sack up and buy Civilization 4.

binaries means it's been compiled for a certain type of computer. You probably want the windows binaries. Go to this website:

http://www.freeciv.org/index.php/Freeciv

click the link under this header that is appropriate for your version of windows:
"Windows binaries for both Windows versions are available at:"

after downloading just run it. A ****ing hillbilly could do this. oops
