I think he was "considering" Belichick and Capers, but I don't think they actually got interviewed. I think he did interview most of our staff (including Saunders, if I remember correctly). And Raye too, I believe. Great screening process here, huh?

I know Capers was available. I also know we DAMN WELL SHOULD HAVE GOT HIM! The Three Stooges would be history if we had.

I just read that he interviewed Saunders, Raye and Cunningham from within the organization, but I forgot who he interviewed from outside the team.
I wonder why/how Cunningham beat out Saunders. |

He also interviewed the DB's coach for the Tampa Bay Buc's.
He interviewed NO ONE that would be able to challenge his authority. He stuck w/ boot-licking, foot shuffling porters for his interviewees.<BR> |
