KU's John Randle arrested, again.
Very unfortunate this guy can't get his head on straight.
http://www.kusports.com/news/football/story/113657 KU football player arrested again J-W Staff Reports Monday, March 14, 2005 Kansas University football player John Randle is in trouble with the law again. Randle, 20, a sophomore running back last season, was booked into the Douglas County Jail at 2:46 a.m. Sunday, according to the jail log. Sunday night he was still in jail, and no bond had been set. He is scheduled to have a first appearance hearing in Douglas County District Court at 3:30 p.m. today. Lawrence Police arrested Randle, but no details about the incident were available Sunday. Randle's arrest coincided with the start of spring practice for the football team. Associate Athletic Director Jim Marchiony said the athletic department would have no comment about Randle until more information was known. Randle was arrested in a domestic battery incident in November 2003, but the Douglas County District Attorney's Office decided not to file charges after reviewing the case. In April 2004 Randle was ordered by a Lawrence Municipal Court judge to serve two days in jail for attempted theft, disorderly conduct and having a fake driver's license. The charges stemmed from earlier incidents outside a downtown dance hall and at a convenience store. |

Jackass.
I'd boot him off the team and yank his scholarship.

If so, that would leave a huge gaping hole in KU's offense. Clark Green can't get it done.

Great RB or not, he's a punkass thug. He's a case of "You can take a kid out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the kid".
I am so tired of these punks getting everything handed to them on a silver platter simply because they can ball; then they turn around and do something stupid: like beat up their girlfriend, or steal, or attack drive-thru employees for not giving them the right order, etc. What better way to send the message that that kind of behavior will not be tollerated than by booting one of the better players off the squad? That shithead sat out how many games last season for being a thug? And he still hasn't learned his leasson? Sorry... SEE YA!

The guy's got the chance of a lifetime, and he keeps screwing it up. Everyone close to him says he's a good kid, but how can a "good kid" get arrested three times in two years. The fact that he's still in jail and no bond has been set really concerns me. It's a shame. Next year is supposed to be his breakout year along with the rest of the team, but he can't stay out of trouble.

Dammit Randle. This is dissappointing one of my friends on the football team said he thought Randle was straightening out.

The now three-time loser will be changing his # to 40, representing the hard 40 he might have to do if he doesn't get his collective shit together.

MU suspends players until their legal trouble is over; I'd assume KU would do the same.

Manjello has given this guy too many chances already. If he doesn't boot him now, he will have no credibility with the rest of the team. How many arrests will it take? Come on KU...do the right thing for once!
