Did this win over the Raiders bump us down to a 7th or 8th draft pick? It's nice to win, but I'd hate to have the Raiders right above us in the draft. This season is over. It's all about 2005 now!!

2) Smart drafting can still get impact players later in the draft and sometimes after the draft. For example: Terrel Davis, Anquan Boldin, Tom Brady, Rod Smith, Tony Richardson, etc.

Carl Peterson sucks at drafting. That's why we need a top 5 pick. It'll decrease Carl's chances of screwing it up.

Good, some common sense.

It doesn't matter if we draft #5 or #10. It's who we pick. And who will realize the outcome until some years down the road.

Same with all the talk on trading Larry Johnson. It ain't going to happen. I see Priest here one more year, Blaylock moving on, and with all the injury potential of Priest, Larry Johnson could be the main man quicker than we all think.

Chiefs are different. We need a couple DECENT players on D to SOMETIMES stop opponents' offenses and we win it all.
