So some bad ass storm is coming in 8 to 12 in of Snow. All my workers are acting like its a Friday knowing they can't work tomorrow. What a crock nothing has happen yet, this crap drives me nuts "Weatherman says snow, so there is no way I can work"

So I told everyone that they have to take some work home just incase they can't make it in. Now before ya all jump me, its only enough work to last 2-3 hours and they get payed.

I have worked at my current company for eight years. My Father worked here for thirty eight. In that time, I know of one day when we were asked not to come into work due to weather, and one day where we were sent home an hour early (the storm had started in the morning and was almost done by the time they sent us home).

I am sure I will be required to show up tomorrow.

Your a softie, LOL! Make them come in or loose their jobs. At least charge them sick or vacation time. Or make them stay at work if they cant make it the next day so they will already be there!

I've been real nice by bringing in lunch at least once a week.

I know if it was a Saturday and the weatherman said we were going to get rain, they wouldn't cancel a tee time, hell they would drive there in the rain in hopes it would stop.

No crap. I spent 31 years driving in the Northeast where 12" of snow wouldn't get you a 2 hour delay from school. Since I've moved to the south where it's common to get 1/2" to 1" of ice, I go nowhere!
