King Carl not pleased with Tynes
Did anyone else get the feeling from what Carl Peterson said in the booth that Tynes is all but history?

The announcers were going over Tynes' misses, his bad kickoffs, and the incident in River Falls and from what I heard with Carl's reply, it sounds like Tynes is gone.

Something like this

"Yeah, we've been looking for about two weeks now. I thought he was going to be the guy for us, but he's just doing too many things wrong, and not getting it done."

It sounds like Carl's mind was all but made up judging by that response.

Problem is, who can the Chiefs pursue at the K position that would be any better? I dont know of any available kickers that are worth a damn.


I thought Tynes was just in a slump and would shake it off. But man, when youre missing field goals under 40 yards, thats pretty damn bad. Anything under 40 yards should be money for an NFL kicker.

Good, he needs to go. If the kick isn't dead on - he has problems. I was surprised at the kick he did make tonight, cause it was from the right hash mark, rather than the 2 he missed.

They'll wait till the first, maybe the second set of cut downs, and pick a vet up.

My only hope is that Tynes doesn't get on a 2 Preseason game hot streak.

Well here's something the would probably be the only thing to do is to have 2 kickers and a punter.

Bring Morten Andersen back, and let tynes kick off or let richey, or one of the gramaticas kick off.

Why? You'd rather pick up some can't hack it retread instead of hoping Tynes figures things out and gets hot going into the season?
