Overland Park BBQ

One of My Co-workers (Packer Fan) is traveling to Overland Park tomorrow, and asked me where he should go to get some KC BBQ.

I am from St Joe, and have lived in CA for the last 10 Years, so I don't know where the good spots are... any suggestions will be appreciated.

Fiorella's Jack Stack. Around 95th and Metcalf. West side of Metcalf. Can't miss it.

If you're in OPKS, best choices are:
1) Boardroom BBQ
2) Hayward's Pit
3) ...absolute last resort...KC Masterpiece (yeesh)

I like Hayward's, Boardroom and Jackstack. All are between college/95th street and Antioch/Metcalf.

I'd definitely go fiorella's.

There's also an oklahoma joe's in olatha now, at 119th and strang line.

Thank you all for the recommendations. I also noticed that the Jack Stack website says they ship Nationwide............hmmmmmm...... I wonder if it arrives hot...I don't suppose they send a beer-wench with that

They ship it in dry ice, but all you have to do is heat it up in the oven/stove for a bit and you're set! It's a little pricy, but well worth it!!

The beer-wench will cost ya.

Please! I like JackStack too. KC BBQ is best at Bryants (the original). Johnson County BBQ...............God help us.

Jack Stack is great....but my personal favorite is Haywards....been doing things right since the 70's!
