I'm slightly disappointed. Surely DM could come up with something better than that. I've been reading better on our BB's for years!

If it's true, at least he had the nads to say it. Dierdorf and Esiason were always "PC".
Maybe DM caught wind of the things Jitlock was writing about him. |

Miller probably has the "guts" to say just about anything.

I laughed when a field mic caught someone dropping an F-bomb and Miller said, "Wasn't me." I really don't have too big of a problem with him. I think Fouts and especially Dickerson are far worse with words. Sure they know tons about the game but if you can't communicate it what good does it do.

Fouts sucks. He was very obviously rooting against us. Wish he'd suit up for old times' sake so Hicks could knock the crap out of him.

They looked like fools...Questioned Gunther's challenge, after watching the ball drop out."Did you see anything AL?" " No, I didn't" they were pro Seahags, till they realized the tide had turned...
Miller's comments on the NOISE were cool...Was Guiness there tonight? |

Fouts is proof that even after you can't play for the Chargers, you can still be a DOLT.

I agree with Stevieray, DM's comments on the noise were cool. What was that brain-bursting medical condition DM said would sweep over Arrowhead if a sliding roof was installed?

I lost a lot of respect for Whitlock as a journalist last year.
I live in the St. Louis area. Prior to the Cards series at KC last summer, JW wrote a column personally attacking the city of St. Louis and it's fans. The Cards weren't playing well last year. If you wanted to criticize the baseball organization and it's current management, that's fair game. But when you talk about city landmarks and make presumptuous remarks about it's residents - that's crossing the line in my opinion. I'm sure some of the fine people of KC wouldn't appreciate public smearing of their city and/or comments about it's people. Yeah, Whitlock is a class act. Remember when he flashed the bird in New England? Hey Jason, I know you probe these forums. Feel free to respond anytime to: JMolina@apci.net John in St. Louis(metro). GO ST. LOUIS CARDINALS. Postseason bound. How are YOUR Cardinals doing, Jason? Ball St. [This message has been edited by j molina (edited 10-03-2000).] |

Funny how perceptions differ. From the Seattle Post-Intelliger:
http://seattlep-i.nwsource.com/football/hbok031.shtml K.C. CONNECTION: If ABC analyst Dan Fouts seemed a little Chief-friendly last night, he had good cause. Chiefs head coach Gunther Cunningham helped recruit Fouts to play for Oregon, where Cunningham also played (1966-68) and coached (1969-71). Cunningham and Fouts then were reunited again in San Diego for the Chargers. Cunningham was San Diego's defensive line coach from 1985-90, while Fouts played out his NFL Hall of Fame career there from 1973-87.<BR> |

I actually liked Fouts analysis. Dan is concise, accurate, and carries a good deal of acumen to the broadcast booth. WHich beats the hell out of making puns out of players names.
