After all, Jesus seemed so elated when the defense purposely missed a tackle and let him run for a touch down even though he had to turn back twice to retrieve his sandals. #21 decided enough was enough. **** fate, **** her chances of getting into heaven. This was a game, a real game, and no matter what kind of divinity shows up you got to come prepared to play. So when the hole opened up in the line, she tightened her fists, accelerated her speed and wrapped her arms low around Jesus' waist, as she'd been taught. The Messiah let out a small cry, half pain, half surprise. The jolt losened his grip on the ball and it squirted out onto the field. Jesus lost his footing and began his descent to the ground. #21 wondered, her face buried in the Messiah's robe, if he would use his godly powers to protect himself or just let his divine body crash into the astro turf.
