I'm predicting it's going to be underwhelming. After Nacho Libre, I'm afraid Jack Black is played out. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Loved School of Rock though......This Tenacious D movie looks alot more like the Crazy Jack Black.

I'm waiting to read/hear impressions from fellow hardcore Tenacious D fans before I pay to see it.
The trailer looks horrible, but I've seen two scenes from the movie that were funny, so I'm on the fence. |

I was gonna actually start a thread on Jack Black after watching him on the AMA's there tonight, but I figured I'd spammed the board enough today. I don't know, I'm having a hard time trying to find him funny.

Tenacious D is different.... or at least it was. This new Jack Black reminds me of late Eddy Murphy. He kicked so much ass in "Raw"... and the next thing you knew, he was Dr. Dolittle. |

It's the D. Hopefully it will transcend Black's funk of late.
