Developing a QB

After watching last night's game I started thinking that Brodie really can't be this bad of a QB and I start thinking that maybe he just doesn't have anyone on this staff to help him develop into a great QB.

So I went and checked on the QB's in the NFL right now young and old to see who was there to help them develop. Needless to say the Chiefs have probably the worst offensive staff to develop a young QB in the NFL.

Tom Brady had Bill Belichick and Charlie Weis as O-coordinator
Marc Bulger has\had Mike Martz\Scott Linehan
Carson Palmer has Marvin Lewis but with Bob Bratkowski as O-coordinator
Jay Cutler has Shanahan
Philip Rivers had Marty with Cam Cameron and now has Norv Turner
Alex Smith had Mike Nolan with Norv Turner as his O-coordinator
Drew Brees has Sean Payton
Matt Hasselbeck has Mike Holmgren
Vince Young has Jeff Fisher and Norm Chow as the O-Coordinator
Ben Rothelisberge had Bill Cowher with Ken Whisenhunt as the O-Coordinator
Peyton has Tony Dungy but with Tom Moore as O-coordinator. The one thing that I didn't know about Moore was he was the O-Coordinator with the Steelers who won 2 SB's. He was also the O-coordinator with the Lions with Barry Sanders and they high-flying offense.

Heck Chad Pennington at least had Paul Hackett who may suck as an O-coordinator but is a pretty good coach and works good with QB's.

Brodie Croyle has Herm Edwards Mike Solari and Dick Curl

Dick Curl's only experience is working with Jon Kitna in NFLE.

I think Brodie can be good he just needs an experienced O-coordinator \QB coach to help him develop and we just don't have that.

Just my .02 cents

It doesn't help when you have no line or offensive weapons to help him at the moment.

The tackle situation is very troublesome but even when he did have time he missed the target.

I want Brodie to succeed I just don't think we have the coaching staff in place to help him succeed.

What the Freak is a Senior Offensive Asst/Special Projects job?

Almost a sweet as Jimmy Raye holding the "Offensive Red Zone Coordinator" job in NYJ...

No wonder Herm sucks, he surround himself with dipshits....

I fixed my post to show Matsko...didnt mean to put Bicknell on there.

Matsko should have that line good come season opener. If not, it's the players, not the coach, IMO. I like Matsko.
