Suggestions using the personnel we have...

Maybe it's time to use a fullback (Boomer). We brought him to the party, now let's see if he puts out! Those throws to Wilson are starting to piss me off. We throw more his way than Bowe's?????------oh yah, we also just ran for 10 yards in a game.

Scoot the corners up and get all over the receivers, upset their timing and give the d-line more time--------given the situation (3rd and 7 playing off 5 yards and back-pedaling????)

Use running backs to block more often, then maybe release----but Larry doesn't really block.

Let swing passes develope some------Huard throws it immediately.

Must we get on one receiver "runs"? 6 to Gonzalez in a row, 3 to Bowe, 3 to Wilson.....I mean, if the primary guy isn't open must we immediately throw to someone for negative to little yardage?? Spread it around for 4 quarters!!!!!!!! (Did we ever even throw Kennison's way?

I know,I know, back-up QB, bad O-line, Larry's ego, etc. But still...

LJ needs all the help he can get and I think Boomer at FB may help more than what bigfoot has done so far.

I think a real FB would help some. Neither Bigfoot or Boomer fit the bill.

As far the CB play goes I would like to see more bump and run but I don't think the Chiefs have the CBs or Safeties to pull it off.

We definitely need to stop giving opposing offenses that 10-yard cushion. That's sickening to watch them run outs like they're drills.

What about Kolby Smith? I was impressed with him during preseason. He managed to get us a first down yesterday. How is he at blocking? Anyone know?

In preseason he had 19 rushes for 15 yards if you exclude the 1 long run of 55 yards. Far from productive.

I'm beginning to think our only hope might be to use a spread offense the majority of the time. That MIGHT open up some running lanes for LJ. It worked in San Diego. Right now I-formation football ain't cutting it.
