I like Morgan at safety, and Pollard is only playing at like 220 right now, but I'm sure could pack on afew pounds.

I think Pollard would be more valuable for us at LB. Good idea to whomever brought it up.

This has been floated out there for over a year. I don't think you can do it with this lineup, because DJ is SLB, and Williams is too small to play anything but Will. Pollard is too small to be a Mike or a Sam, he has to play Will backer.

I'd rather let Morgan get his chance at safety but I would not be opposed to putting Pollard at OLB and moving Williams inside.

It worked so well for Larry Atkins...

So now that Pollard's finally playing well at safety, we move him to linebacker.
Well, I'll give you this much: it sounds like something this franchise would do. |

The Titans LBs are playing great and they start David Thornton & Keith Bulluck at OLBs. Thorton is 225 lbs and Bullock is 235. Like Thorton, Pollard hits and tackles like a larger player. I like his speed and think that he could easily put on a few good lbs. As for Morgan, yeah I'd like to see what he can do. But Surtain knows the game as well anyone on the defense and would be a great safety valve for a young secondary.

You make a good point. But,while Pollard did play well today, he still has problems in coverage. If the LB corp looked better, I wouldn't suggest it.

Best game of the year for most of the defense.

It's not just today, he's played well all season. Breakdowns in coverage at safety so far have generally come with the name McGraw gracing the back of the jersey.

I think you've been seduced by his locker room dance moves.

Pollard had some really awful blown tackles in Atlanta. On one play he actually knocked Pat Thomas OFF Michael Turner.
