LNBS: Harsh Lyrics In Break-Up/Love Songs
I was giving my son and his friends a ride home from a school activity and "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart came on the radio. I enjoy the song. It's catchy. But this lyric is just incredibly harsh given the context of the song:
"The morning sun, when it's in your face, really shows your age." Ouch. Harsh. It made me wonder how many harsher lyrics there are because I couldn't easily come up with any off the top of my head. |
